(Washington, DC) -- John Wall went off for 21 points and 17 assists, leading the Wizards to a 109-95 rout of the Timberwolves at the Verizon Center. Rasual Butler netted 23 points off the bench, while Marcin Gortat added 15 for the Wiz, who have won five in-a-row and nine-of-10 overall. Nene had 11 points and seven boards in the victory. Thaddeus Young scored a game-high 29 points for Minnesota, which lost for the ninth time in 10 games. Shabazz Muhammad donated 21 off the pine in defeat.


Heat Clip Nets

(Brooklyn, NY) -- Dwyane Wade carried the banged up Heat with 28 points, five rebounds and four assists in their 95-91 win against the Nets at the Barclay Center. Miami improved to 12-and-13 despite playing without both of its starting big men, Chris Bosh and Josh McRoberts. Luol Deng added 18 in the victory.  Brooklyn struggled shooting 39-percent from the field and turning the ball over 17 times. Mason Plumlee had a team-high 21 points with nine rebounds for the Nets, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.


Mavericks, Chandler Beat Knicks At MSG

(New York, NY) -- It was a nice return to Madison Square Garden for Tyson Chandler as the Mavericks crushed the Knicks, 107-87. Chandler posted eight points and 14 rebounds in the place he called home for the previous three seasons. Dirk Nowitzki added 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in only 23 minutes for Dallas, which is 3-and-3 in its last six. Carmelo Anthony had a game-high 26 points in the loss. Tim Hardaway Junior added 14, but shot 5-of-17 from the field. New York has lost 12-of-13.


Grizzlies End Warriors' 16-Game Winning Streak

(Memphis, TN) -- Marc Gasol led a balanced attack with 24 points as the Grizzlies ended the Warriors' 16-game winning streak with a 105-98 victory in Memphis. Zach Randolph had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have won their last five. Mike Conley also scored 17 points in the victory.  Klay Thompson netted 22 points for Golden State, which lost for the first time since November 11. Stephen Curry had 19 points on 9-of-25 shooting, including 1-of-10 from three-point range, in the loss.


Pelicans Surge Past Jazz

(New Orleans, LA) -- Anthony Davis poured in 31 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots as the Pelicans rallied for a 119-111 win over the Jazz in New Orleans. Ryan Anderson knocked down six three-pointers as part of a 28-point night for New Orleans, which outscored Utah 41-22 in the fourth quarter. The Pelicans evened their record at 12-and-12 with the win. Enes Kanter had 29 points and seven boards for the Jazz, who have lost their last three.


Thunder Bounces Kings

(Sacramento, CA) -- Russell Westbrook exploded for 32 points, seven assists, six rebounds and four steals in leading the Thunder past the Kings, 104-92, at Sleep Train Arena. It was Tyrone Corbin's debut as interim head coach for Sacramento after Mike Malone was surprisingly fired. Kevin Durant added 26 points for Oklahoma City, which has won seven straight and nine-of- ten. Rudy Gay posted 22 points, six boards and three helpers in the defeat. The Kings have gone 2-and-8 without DeMarcus Cousins, who is expected to return when they host the Bucks on Thursday.
