Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School claimed two wins over Stewardson-Strasburg in boys basketball Monday evening.
The Bullpups won the seventh-grade encounter 39-10. St. Anthony leaped out to a 14-2 opening quarter lead and was in control the rest of the way. Dust tallied 10 and Elder eight for the winners. Kriby led Stew-Stras with six.
In eighth-grade action, St. Anthony again stepped out to a big lead and went on for a 46-14 victory. Brandenburger was the lone player in the contest in double figures with 11. Stew-Stras was led by Tabbert with seven.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis bounced Casey-Westfield twice Monday evening.
T-town won the seventh-grade game 51-11. T-town had a 21-2 second quarter run. Mitch Hardiek scored 12 while Alex Deters added eight and Mitch Hemmen seven for the winners.
In eighth-grade play, T-town claimed a 39-18 victory. Dawson Smith and Tyler Runde provided the one-two scoring punch with 12 points each.
