(Durham, NC) -- Jahlil Okafor erupted for 25 points and 20 rebounds as second-ranked Duke dropped Elon 75-62 at Cameron Indoor. Okafor logged the first 20-20 game by a freshman in school history. Amile Jefferson added 13 points to help the Blue Devils improve to 9-0. Duke will face UConn on Thursday.
#8 Gonzaga Dumps Texas Southern
(Spokane, WA) -- Kyle Wiltjer scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting as number-eight Gonzaga cruised past visiting Texas Southern 94-54. Domantas Sabonis chipped in 16 points and Silas Melson scored 13 off the bench to help the Bulldogs improve to 10-1. Gonzaga takes on Cal Poly this weekend.
North Carolina Tumbles In Rankings
North Carolina tumbled in the "USA Today" top-25 college basketball rankings for the second straight week. The Tar Heels fell six spots to 24th after suffering an 84-70 loss to top-ranked Kentucky last week. The 6-3 Heels will be on the road to face UNC Greensboro at 7:00 tonight.
