Frosh/Soph Girls Basketball -- Dec. 9

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis captured freshman and sophomore girls basketball victories over Effingham Tuesday evening.

T-town was a 49-37 winner in freshman play. The Wooden Shoes had a 14-2 second quarter run. Macy Michels scored 15 and Shanna Niebrugge 10 for the Shoes. Effingham was led by S. Myers with 10.

In the sophomore contest, T-town picked up a 43-37 win. T-town held a 21-13 halftime lead. Effingham came back with a 16-7 third quarter run to lead 29-28 going into the final quarter. T-town rallied with a 15-8 run.

Christy Hoene scored 11 and Jolene Bueker 10 for T-town. Effingham was led by A. Armstrong with 19.
