Boys, Girls Fresh/Soph Basketball Results -- Dec. 8

Effingham and Effingham St. Anthony split boys freshman/sophomore basketball wins Monday evening.

The Bulldogs claimed the freshman contest 45-36. Alex Deters was the lone player in double figures with 13 points.

In the sophomore contest, Effingham picked up a 56-38 win.

Effingham downed Charleston 59-48 in freshman competition Monday evening.

The Hearts had three players hit double figures, Bria Barr and Shelby Myers with 17 each and Aly Armstrong with 10.
