South Central, North Clay Fall In Boys High School Action

FARINA -- Patoka came calling and handed South Central a boys high school basketball loss Monday evening, 63-48.
Patoka's J. Cain tallied a whopping 36 points while D. Back added 11 in the victory. Patoka led 31-20 at halftime.
Langley led the Cougars with 16 points while Harmeier added 15 and Hill 13. South Central drops to 2-2 overall and will host Altamont Firday in National Trail Conference play.

At Clay City
Clay City edged North Clay (Louisville) 49-46 in Midland Trail Conference play Monday evening.
The Wolves took a 19-15 opening quarter lead but North Clay came back to lead 30-29 at halftime. The Cardinals held that one point lead going into the final quarter but Clay City had an 9-5 run to pull out the win.
Klingler led the Wolves with 12 points while Ausbrook added 10. North Clay was led by Hartseg with 21.
