The Illinois Fighting Illini displayed plenty of fight Friday night as they trounced Austin Peay 101-67 in the first game of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational.

The game, played at the State Farm Center, featured 60% shooting from Illinois, including 56% shooting from three-point range. Rayvonte Rice was 6-for-6 from the field for 16 points, while Kendrick Nunn was 4-for-4 on three-pointers and finished with 14 points. Malcolm Hill had a career-high 16 points.

The Illini beat Coppin State last Sunday, scoring 114 points in the process. It's the first time the Illini have posted triple-digit point totals in back-to-back contests since December 1993.

Illinois is back in action Monday night at 7pm at home, hosting Brown.
