Wildcats Top UC Irvine With Big Second Half

(Tucson, AZ) -- Trailing at the half by three, the second-ranked Wildcats outscored UC Irvine by 20 after the break on their way to a 71-54 at McKale Center. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scored 19 points off the bench to pace Arizona, which improved to 3-0. The 'Cats meet Missouri on Monday in the EA Sports Maui Invitational in Hawaii.

Gonzaga Decimates Saint Joseph

(Spokane, WA) -- Gary Bell, Jr. led five players in double figures with 18 points as No. 13 Gonzaga decimated Saint Joseph's by a 94-42 count on Wednesday. Josh Perkins picked up 13 points, while Domantas Sabonis registered 10 points with 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs (3-0), who will next face St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday in the next round of the NIT Season Tip-Off. Byron Wesley added 12 points and six assists, with Przemek Karnowski pouring in 11 with eight boards to help fuel the rout.  

Creighton Clips #18 Oklahoma

(Omaha, NE) -- Creighton rallied from an 18-point deficit to upset 18th-ranked Oklahoma 65-63 at the CenturyLink Center in Austin Chatman racked up 17 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the Bluejays, who moved to 3-and-0 on the season. Toby Hegner and Isaiah Zierden added 11 points apiece in the victory. Buddy Hield netted 21 points and TaShawn Thomas tallied 14 for the Sooners, who fell to 1-1. Ryan Spangler donated 11 points and 11 boards in the setback.

Notre Dame Rocks Coppin State

(South Bend, IN) -- Notre Dame stormed past Coppin State, 104-67, in South Bend behind 21 points and seven rebounds from Zach Auguste. The Fighting Irish improved to 3-0. They face UMass on Saturday.
