Effingham St. Anthony tallied two victories over Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick in girls junior high school basketball action Tuesday evening.
The Bullpups improved to 13-7 on the season in seventh-grade play by edging BCCH 16-14. The two squads were tied at 5-5 after one quarter. St. Anthony had a 6-2 run to lead 11-7 at halftime. BCCH came back with a 4-2 third period lead to pull within 13-11 going into the final quarter. Both teams tallied three points.
Taylor Beesley led St. Anthony with five points. Kylee Bertin led BCCH with six.
In the eighth-grade contest, St. Anthony claimed a 26-15 victory to improve to 17-3. The Bullpups held an 11-4 first half lead.
Meg Richards scored eight for the winners. Tabitha Endsley led BCCH with 10.

At Robinson
Effingham captured two wins over Robinson Nuttall Tuesday evening.
The Mustangs won the seventh-grade contest 20-18. Kull and Krouse tallied seven each for the winners who are now 7-10.
In eighth-grade play, Efifngham won 43-9. The Mustangs, who are 16-1, were led by Fearday with 20.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis and Pana both picked up a victory Tuesday evening.
T-town was a 32-11 winner in seventh-grade action. Claire Bushur, Olivia Niemerg and Karsyn Mette tallied seven points each in even scoring for the winners. T-town is now a perfect 21-0 on the season.
In eighth-grade competition, Pana claimed a 30-26 victory. Pana took a 6-0 lead in the opening quarter and then held on for the victory.
Niemerg led T-town with 11 points. The squad drops to 15-6.

Dieterich and Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor were both winners Tuesday evening.
Dieterich captured the seventh-grade contest 22-12. Dieterich held a 10-8 first half lead then had an 8-2 third period scoring surge.
Bierman led the winners with seven points. Davis led Stew-Stras/Windsor with four as the squad dropped to 6-12.
In eighth-grade action, Stew-Stras/Windsor won 44-20. Stew-Stras/Windsor jumped out to a 25-10 first half lead and outscored Dieterich 19-10 in the second half.
Tabbert tallied 14, Schlechte 13 and Davis 10 for the winners who are now 13-6 on the season. Britton led Dieterich with nine.

Jasper County and Sigel St. Michael split victories Tuesday evening.
Jasper County was a 40-25 winner in seventh-grade action. St. Michael held a 10-8 opening quarter lead before Jasper County pushed ahead 24-18 at halftime and went on for the win.
Abby Stone talleid 11 for the winners.
In the eighth-grade game, St. Michael was a 38-19 winner. St. Michael stepped out to a 22-9 first half lead. S. Bueker tallied 20 points to lead the winners. Mallory Bergbower led Jasper County with 12.
