(Atlanta, GA) -- Kobe Bryant scored 28 points on 10-of-18 shooting leading the Lakers to a 114-109 win against the Hawks at Philips Arena. Bryant also became the fourth player in NBA history to pass the 32,000 career points mark. Carlos Boozer added 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Jeremy Lin also had a double-double with 15 and 10 assists.

Los Angeles got its second win of the season in its 11th game. Nick Young made his season debut for the Lakers scoring 17 points off the bench. Paul Millsap had a game-high 29 points in the defeat. Jeff Teague contributed 23 and three assists for Atlanta, which evened up its record at five


Bucks Hold Off Knicks

(Milwaukee, WI) -- The Bucks outscored the Knicks by 17 in the second quarter and held off a second half rally to pull out a 117-113 victory at the Bradley Center. All five Milwaukee starters were in double figures, but they were paced by Ersan Ilyasova's 20 points off the bench. Zaza Pachulia and Brandon Knight each chipped in 14 as the Bucks got above .500 at 6-5. New York trailed by as many as 26, but wasn't able to complete the comeback. Carmelo Anthony dropped in 26 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Iman Shumpert put up 21 points, eight boards, eight helpers and three steals in his return after missing one game with a hip injury. The Knicks are 3-9.


Jazz Roll Thunder

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Alec Burks went off for 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Jazz topped the Thunder 98-81 at EnergySolutions Arena. All five starters finished in double-digits for Utah, which improves to 5-7. Enes Kanter went for 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Trey Burke added 17 in the win. Jeremy Lamb led the Thunder with 19 points, while Reggie Jackson chipped in 10 and seven assists. Steven Adams added 11 points and eight rebounds as Oklahoma City slid to 3-and-9 with its third straight loss.


Pelicans Upend Kings

(Sacramento, CA) -- Anthony Davis totaled 28 points, nine rebounds and three blocks as the New Orleans Pelicans upended the Sacramento Kings, 106-100, on Tuesday. Ryan Anderson scored 15 of his 22 points in the second half, and Tyreke Evans donated 18 points -- all after the break -- to go
along with six rebounds and five assists against his former team. The Pelicans turned the ball over just six times and won for the third time in four games.


Bulls Clash With Kings Thursday

(Sacramento, CA) -- The Bulls will continue their seven-game road trip against the Kings in Sacramento Thursday night. Chicago opened the trek with a 105-89 win over the Clippers on Monday. The Bulls also moved to 8-3 on the season with the victory.
