Effingham FCA group will be asking the area businesses to get behind a fundraising effort called HEARTS AGAINST HUNGER.

Now through Tuesday, November 25, all FCA members of Effingham High School will be collecting pledges from the local businesses. Hearts Against Hunger is a fundraiser to help stomp out hunger in Effingham County.

For every Hearts boys varsity basketball win, the business will pledge a dollar amount to go to the Shumway Freedom House Food Pantry to purchase food for the community.

If there are any questions, phone Chris Fleener (Effingham FCA) at 217-540-1100 or Vickie Kight (Shumway Freedom House) at 217-240-0059.
