ROBINSON -- Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School picked up two wins over Robinson in girls basketball action Monday evening.
The Bullpups defeated Robinson 24-10 in seventh-grade play to improve to 11-5 on the season. Katherine Slaughter led the winners with nine points.
In the eighth-grade game, St. Anthony stepped out to a 12-0 first quarter lead and went on for a 33-8 win. Shae Kinkelaar tallied 13 and Meg Richards 10 for the winners who improve to 13-3.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis claimed two wins over Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick. T-town won the seventh-grade game 39-10.
Alli Brumleve tallied 10 and Olivia Niemerg nine for the winners. T-town is still unbeaten at 18-0 on the season. BCCH is now 9-6.
In the eighth-grade game, T-town was a 37-16 winner. T-town led 22-9 at halftime. Julie Frey led the winners with 14 points. Tabitha Endsley led BCCH with eight.
T-town improves to 13-5 on the season while BCCH drops to 8-8.

Jasper County downed Casey-Westfield twice. Jasper County won the seventh-grade game 23-12. Abby Stone tallied 10 points for the winners.
In the eighth-grade game, Jasper County captured a 26-14 win. Mallory Bergbower and Allison Russell scored 11 each.
