Rose Leads Bulls Past Pistons, NBA Roundup

(Chicago, IL) -- After sitting out four of the team's last five games, Derrick Rose totaled 24 points and seven assists to lead the Bulls to a 102-91 win over the Pistons at the United Center. Jimmy Butler chipped in 19 points and Pau Gasol recorded a double-double with 17 and 15 boards.

Joakim Noah also finished with a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 14 rebounds for Chicago, which has won five of its last six. Josh Smith paced Detroit with 19 points and 11 boards in the loss. Greg Monroe and D.J. Augustin each added 16 as the Pistons dropped their second straight game.


Pacers Down Jazz

(Indianapolis, IN) -- Roy Hibbert scored 29 points to lead the Pacers to a 97-86 win over the Jazz at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. A.J. Price had 22 points off the bench to help the Pacers stop their six-game losing streak. Solomon Hill chipped in with 13 points in the victory. Gordon Hayward had 30 points on 11-of-15 shooting for Utah, which has dropped three-of-five. Enes Kanter finished with 18 points in the loss.


LeBron Leads Cavaliers Past Pelicans

(Cleveland, OH) -- LeBron James went off for his 38th career triple-double, leading the Cavaliers to a 118-111 win over the Pelicans at Quicken Loans Arena.  James racked up 32 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Kyrie Irving also scored 32 points to go with nine helpers and five boards, while Kevin Love added 22 points for the Cavs, who have won two in-a-row to even their record at 3-3. Ryan Anderson netted 32 points off the bench to pace New Orleans, which slipped to 3-3. Anthony Davis donated 27 points and 14 rebounds in the setback. Tyreke Evans was just 2-of-14 from the field, while Eric Gordon made 4-of-11 shots.


Hawks Hold Off Knicks

(New York, NY) -- Paul Millsap poured in 19 points to lead the Hawks to a 91-85 victory over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Kyle Korver went for 17 while DeMarre Carroll grabbed 10 boards in the win. Dennis Schroder dropped 14 off the bench as Atlanta improved to 3-3. Carmelo Anthony shot 25 times and finished with 25 points in the loss. Anthony added nine boards and seven assists, with Tim Hardaway Jr. collecting 15 points. Iman Shumpert finished with 18 in 30 minutes of work for the Knicks, who slide to 2-6 following its fifth straight loss.


Spurs Rally Past Clippers In LA

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Spurs used a 12-0 run down the stretch to pull out an 89-85 win over the Clippers at STAPLES Center. Kawhi Leonard dropped in a game-high 26 points to go with 10 rebounds for San Antonio, which evened its record at 3-3. Tim Duncan donated 18 points and 11 boards and Tony Parker had 13 points in the victory. Chris Paul just missed a triple-double with 12 points, 10 boards and nine assists. Blake Griffin added 23 points, 10 rebounds and six helpers for the Clippers, who fell to 4-3.
