Pairings Released for Capital Classic Thanksgiving Tourney

Teutopolis is the lone area high school competing in the 25th Annual Capital Classic Thanksgiving Boys Basketball Tournament.

The Wooden Shoes will play in the pool with Red Hill (Bridgeport), Olney and Fairfield. In the other pool at Lawrenceville High School will be the host squad along with Mount Carmel, Marshall and Pinckneyville.

Pool play will be held at both Red Hill and Lawrenceville. T-town opens the tournament Friday, November 28 at Red Hill against Fairfield at 12:30 p.m. The Shoes, the defending champions, will  then face Olney at 6 p.m.

Pool play will conclude Saturday, November 29 as T-town takes on Red Hill at 10 a.m. The finals are scheduled for Saturday evening with the championship game at 8 p.m.

Game 4 -- Red Hill (Bridgeport) vs. Fairfield, 8 p.m.

At Lawrenceville

Game 1 -- Mount Carmel vs. Marshall, 11 a.m.
