Knicks Sneak By Wizards, NBA Preseason Roundup

(New York, NY) -- Carmelo Anthony knocked down an and-one jumper with 13 seconds left lifting the Knicks to a 103-100 exhibition win over the Wizards at Madison Square Garden.  Anthony finished with 30 points, three assists, three boards and three steals. The Knicks close out the preseason tomorrow against the Raptors in Montreal

Celtics Rock Nets

(Boston, MA) -- Jared Sullinger had a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds helping the Celtics beat up the Nets, 100-86, at the TD Garden. Mason Plumlee put up 15 points and 11 rebounds, but had six turnovers in the loss. These teams open the regular season against one another next Wednesday in Boston.

Lakers Beat Blazers

(Ontario, CA) -- With Kobe Bryant getting the final two games of the preseason off the Lakers pulled out a 94-86 win against the Blazers in Ontario on the back of rookie Julius Randle.  The first-round pick put up 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting with eight rebounds in 24 minutes. Los Angeles wraps up the exhibition slate tomorrow facing the Kings at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Clippers Beat Suns

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Gerald Green missed a three-pointer as time expired giving the Clippers a 108-105 win over the Suns in preseason action at STAPLES Center. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin both went off in the victory. Paul had 34 points, nine assists, five rebounds and four steals, while Griffin posted 35 points and seven boards. Los Angeles closes out the exhibition slate hosting the Blazers Friday.

Rockets Beat Magic

(Orlando, FL) -- Dwight Howard enjoyed the night off as the Rockets defeated the Magic, 90-89, in exhibition action at the Amway Center. Troy Daniels and Isaiah Canaan each posted 14 points off the bench. Houston wraps up the preseason slate Friday hosting the Spurs.

Grizzlies Down Cavaliers

(Memphis, TN) -- Marc Gasol posted 16 points and nine rebounds as the Grizzlies beat the Cavaliers, 96-92, at the FedExFrom in preseason action. Quincy Pondexter added 15 points. Memphis closes out the exhibition slate hosting the Heat Friday.

Bucks Drop Preseason Finale

(Milwaukee, WI) -- Jabari Parker posted 18 points and nine rebounds but the Bucks lost 110-91 to the Timberwolves in their preseason finale at the Bradley Center. Nate Wolters netted 14 points for Milwaukee, which closed out the exhibition slate 3-4. The Bucks open the regular season next Wednesday in Charlotte.

Hawks Top Spurs

(San Antonio, TX) -- Jeff Teague posted 21 points to carry the Hawks to a 117-107 win over the Spurs in San Antonio. Mike Scott added 19 points off the bench for Atlanta, which ends the preseason at 4-3. The Hawks start the regular season Wednesday at Toronto.
      

Bulls End Preseason Friday

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Bulls end the preseason Friday in St. Louis against the Timberwolves. Chicago is 4-3 while the T'wolves are 4-2. The Bulls start the regular season Wednesday at the Knicks.
