The field is set for the 2014 Effingham/Teutopolis Boys Basketball Christmas Tournament.

The event is set for Friday and Saturday, December 26-27 at both Effingham High School and at J.H. Griffin Gym at Teutopolis High School.

The field has grown from six schools in its inaugural season to eight this year. Returning from last season are Teutopolis, Chicago Al Raby, Charleston, Effingham, Mt. Vernon and Mattoon. New to the tournament will be Chicago Brooks and Chicago Oak Lawn.

The tournament will be a pool play affair. Teutopolis, Chicago Al Raby, Charleston and Chicago Oak Lawn will be in one pool. The other pool will include Effingham, Mt. Vernon, Mattoon and Chicago Brooks. Sessions are being scheduled for Friday afternoon and night at both locations, and a Saturday morning session at both venues, with the finals set for Saturday night at Effingham.
