Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School claimed two girls basketball wins over Dieterich Monday evening.

St. Anthony edged Dieterich 28-26 in seventh-grade play. Katie Rogers led the winners with 15 points. Bierman led Dieterich with 19. The Bullpups improve to 4-5.

In eighth-grade action, St. Anthony won 40-16 to improve to 5-2 on the season. Meg Richards tallied 12. Dieterich was led by Wahling with seven.

At Teutopolis

Teutopolis tallied in the 30 point range in both seventh and eighth grade action to down Sullivan twice.

T-town won the seventh-grade encounter 32-6. Olivia Niemerg and Alli Brumleve scored eight points each as T-town improved to 9-0.

In eighth-grade play, T-town was a 34-22 winner. Morgan Mette scored in double figures with 11. T-town is now 5-4.

At Mulberry Grove

Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick and Mulberry Grove played just an eighth-grade contest Monday evening.

BCCH tallied a 37-6 victory to improve to 6-2 on the season. Tabitha Endsley scored 18 for the winners.

At Louisville

Jasper County picked up two victories over North Clay (Louisville). Jasper County was a 24-9 winner in seventh-grade action. Josie Grunloh tallied nine points.

In the eighth-grade game, Mallory Bergbower led Jasper County to a 29-21 victory with 18 points and 20 rebounds.
