(Chicago, IL) -- Carlos Boozer's playing days for the Bulls are done. The team has used the amnesty provision to waive the veteran. His $16.8-million salary will no longer count toward the salary cap for Chicago. The Bulls will use that money to complete deals for Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic.

Doug McDermott poured in 20 points as the Bulls downed the Timberwolves 107-73 in Summer League action from Las Vegas Tuesday. David Wear added 15 points for Chicago, which is 3-0 in the tournament. The Bulls play the Lakers or Sixers Thursday.
