Bulls Still In Play For 'Melo

Despite reports of Carmelo Anthony leaning toward a return to the Knicks, the Bulls still are an option. CBSSports reports Chicago and the Los Angeles Lakers can still land the All-Star forward. The Knicks can offer a max deal of five years and over $129-million.

The Bulls begin their Las Vegas Summer League schedule Saturday night. They play the Los Angeles Clippers at the Thomas and Mack Center at UNLV. Chicago also plays Denver and Minnesota before seeding for the tournament.


NBA Free Agency Signing Period Has Begun

The NBA free agency signing  period has begun and  while the world waits for LeBron James' latest decision, the Cleveland Cavaliers officially signed All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving to what was previously reported to be a five- year, $90 million maximum contract extension. As for James, multiple outlets
have stated that the four-time league MPV will either return to the Miami Heat or go  back to the Cleveland Cavaliers. James met Heat president Pat Riley in Las Vegas on Wednesday. He spent the past four years in Miami, winning a pair of titles in four NBA Finals appearances, after playing his  first
seven NBA seasons in Cleveland near his hometown of Akron.
