(New York, NY) -- It appears Carmelo Anthony is staying in the "Big Apple." The "New York Daily News" reports the free-agent forward will re-sign with the Knicks.  'Melo will receive a maximum contract worth 129-million-dollars over five years. The paper cites a source as saying the seven-time All-Star turned down a four-year max deal from the Los Angeles Lakers to remain with New York.  He had also met with the Bulls last week.
