Area Players Named to IBCA All-State Boys Basketball Teams

Several area high school boys basketball players were named to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-State Teams recently.

Named to the Class 1A/2A Third Team was Garrett Ziegler from Altamont. Reed Hardiek of Teutopolis drew Fourth Team honors.

Special Mention went to Lucas Stone of Newton and Brett Mette of Teutopolis.

Listed on Honorable Mention for Class 3A/4A were John Goeckner of Effingham St. Anthony, Levi Maxey of St. Elmo, Colten Burrus of Cowden-Herrick and Cody Will of Teutopolis.
