Grizzlies Grind Out Win In Oklahoma City

(Oklahoma City, OK) -- After an unlikely sequence sent the game to overtime, the Grizzlies rebounded to grab a 111-105 win against the Thunder in Game Two from Oklahoma City. Down five with under 20 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Kevin Durant connected for an incredible four-point play and Kendrick Perkins hit a put-back as time expired to extend the game. From there Zach Randolph took over for Memphis scoring eight of his 25 points in overtime to take the series home with everything tied up at one. The Grizz got huge contributions off the bench from Beno Udrih and Tony Allen. Udrih put up 14 points in 14 minutes, while Allen scored eight points with eight rebounds, three assists and four steals. Kevin Durant tallied 36 points with 11 rebounds in the loss. Russell Westbrook put up 29 points, but the Oklahoma City stars combined to shoot 23-of-56. Game Three is Thursday night at the FedExForum.

Clippers Demolish Warriors In Game Two

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Clippers made easy work of the Warriors, 138-98, to even up their Western Conference quarterfinals series at one from the STAPLES Center. After playing only 20 minutes in Game One due to foul trouble, Blake Griffin exploded for a playoff career-high of 35 points on 13-of-17 shooting.  Chris Paul filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and five steals for Los Angeles, which will try to keep it rolling Thursday in Oakland for Game Three. Steph Curry posted 24 points in the loss, while the rest of Golden State's starting lineup combined for 26 points.  The Warriors turned the ball over 26 times and shot 4-of-19 from behind the arc.

Noah Named NBA Defensive Player Of Year

(New York, NY) -- Bulls center Joakim Noah is the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year. The anchor of the league's best defense joins Michael Jordan as the second player in franchise history to earn the award. The Bulls have allowed a league-low 91.8 points per game this season.

The Bulls look to avoid a deep hole tonight as they host the Wizards in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Chicago lost Game One of the best-of-seven set on Sunday, 102-93. Tip from United Center is set for 8:30.
