Bobcats Beat Bulls In OT

(Charlotte, NC) -- Kemba Walker poured in 22 points with eight assists and seven rebounds to help the Bobcats beat the Bulls 91-86 in overtime from Charlotte. Al Jefferson added 10 points and 18 boards in the win. Chris Douglas-Roberts chipped in with 13 points off the bench for Charlotte, which is the seventh seed in the East and will play Miami in the first round of the postseason. The Bobcats end the regular season 43-39. Joakim Noah totaled 14 points and 13 rebounds to go with six assists and two blocks for Chicago, which closes the year 48-and-34 and will take on Washington in the opening round of the playoffs. Carlos Boozer added 14 points and 11 boards in defeat.

The Chicago Bulls open up the postseason at home on Sunday night against the Washington Wizards. The Bulls host Game One and Two on Sunday and Tuesday nights. The series shifts to D.C. for Game's Three and Four. Washington won the regular season series 2-1.


Pacers Dump Magic

(Orlando, FL) -- The Pacers go into the playoffs on a positive note with a 101-86 win against the Magic at the Amway Center. David West, Paul George, Lance Stephenson and Ian Mahinmi were all given the night off. Chris Copeland and Rasual Butler paced Indiana with 19 points. The Pacers will face the Hawks in round one of the NBA playoffs. Indiana is the one-seed with a 56-and-26 record. Maurice Harkless posted 14 points in the loss. E'Twaun Moore contributed 13 for Orlando, which finished 23-59. The Magic will have the third-best shot at the number-one overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.


Hawks Beat Bucks

(Milwaukee, WI) -- Mike Scott led a balanced attack with 17 points as the Hawks beat the Bucks 111-103 in the season finale at the Bradley Center. Mike Muscala netted 15 points and Cartier Martin added 14 for Atlanta, which earned the eighth-seed in the Eastern Conference and opens the playoffs at Indiana.  DeMarre Carroll chipped in with 13 points in the victory. Brandon Knight dropped in a game-high 31 points for the Bucks, who finish with the league's worst record at 15-67. John Henson had 19 points off the bench in defeat.


Grizzlies Beat Mavericks To Set Western Conference Matchups

(Memphis, TN) -- Monta Ellis missed an open jumper at the buzzer that sent the Grizzlies to a 106-105 overtime win at the FedExForum and set the Western Conference playoffs. At 50-32 Memphis jumped up to the seven-seed and will get the Thunder in the opening round. With a 49-and-33 record Dallas will square off with the rival San Antonio Spurs. Zach Randolph posted 27 points and 14 rebounds in the victory. Mike Conley added 22. Dirk Nowitzki tallied a game-high 30 points for the Mavs


Pelicans Clip Rockets

(New Orleans, LA) -- Tyreke Evans filled it up going for 25 points, 10 assists and six rebounds as the Pelicans closed out the regular season with a 105-100 win against the Rockets at the Smoothie King Center. Austin Rivers added 18 points and eight assists for New Orleans, which ends the season 34-48. The Pelicans will most likely have to give up their first-round pick to the 76ers in the upcoming NBA Draft unless they get lucky and end up in the top-five.  Houston finished up with a 54-28 record. The Rockets will host Game One of their first round series against the Trail Blazers Sunday night. Troy Daniels tallied a team-high 22 points in the loss.


Lakers Level Spurs

(San Antonio, TX) -- Jordan Hill turned in 18 points and 14 rebounds as the Lakers ended the season with a 113-100 win over the Spurs in San Antonio. Wesley Johnson added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, which closes the year 27-and-55 and is missing the postseason for the first time since the 2004-05 season. Kendall Marshall chipped in with 15 points and 11 assists in the win. Kawhi Leonard scored 14 points to pace San Antonio, which will have home-court advantage through out the postseason as the West's top seed. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili played limited minutes and combined for 22 points in defeat.


Cavaliers Crush Resting Nets In Season Finale

(Cleveland, OH) -- Tyler Zeller recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds off the bench as the Cavaliers closed out the season with a 114-85 rout of the resting Nets at The Q. Dion Waiters scored 19 points and Kyrie Irving added 15 for the Cavs, who end the year 33-49. Tristan Thompson tallied 11 points and 10 boards in the victory. Andray Blatche posted 20 points and 12 boards to pace Brooklyn, which rested starters Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Shaun Livingston. Marcus Thornton also had 20 points in the setback. The Nets are the sixth-seed in the Eastern Conference and will play Toronto in the opening round of the playoffs.


76ers Sink Heat

(Miami, FL) -- Thaddeus Young tallied 20 points and nine rebounds as the 76ers defeated the Heat 100-87 from Miami in the regular season finale for both teams. Michael Carter-Williams chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds for Philadelphia, which ends the season 19-63. It's the third worst finish in franchise history.  Miami was without Chris Bosh and LeBron James in the loss. Dwyane Wade had 16 points and four assists in 23 minutes for Miami, which is the two seed in the East and plays Charlotte in the first round of the playoffs. Miami closed the regular season 54-28.


Jazz Outlast T'wolves In Double OT

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Trey Burke totaled 32 points, nine assists and seven rebounds to power the Jazz to a 136-130 double overtime win against the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Gordon Hayward had 23 points, 10 boards and nine assists for Utah, which closes the season at 25-57. Derrick Favors turned in 21 points and 12 rebounds while Jeremy Evans had 18 and 11 in the win. Kevin Martin scored 36 points to pace Minnesota, which ends the year 40-42. Kevin Love finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in the loss.


Wizards Whip Celtics

(Boston, MA) -- Bradley Beal posted 27 points and seven rebounds to help the Wizards knock off the Celtics 118-102 in Boston. Trevor Booker added 20 points for Washington, which is the fifth seed in the East and plays Chicago in the opening round of the postseason. Marcin Gortat chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Washington ended the year 44-38. Kelly Olynyk had 24 points to pace Boston, which finished the year 25-a57. Jeff Green turned in 20 points in defeat.


Knicks Topple Raptors

(New York, NY) -- J.R. Smith led all scorers with 30 points to lift the Knicks over the Raptors 95-92 at Madison Square Garden. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Toure' Murry chipped in 18 and 15 off the bench, respectively, for New York, which ends it's season 37-and-45 and on a four-game winning streak. Kyle Lowry paced the Raptors with 22 points while Greivis Vasquez added 13 off the bench for Toronto. The Raptors finish 48-34, which is the best record in the young franchise's history. Toronto earned the third seed in the Eastern Conference and will face the Nets in the first round of the playoffs.


Warriors Rock Nuggets

(Denver, CO) -- Jordan Crawford tallied a game-high 41 points to lead the Warriors to a 116-112 win over the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center.  Harrison Barnes chipped in 30 points for Golden State while Maurice Speights recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. The Warriors finish the season 51-31 and are the sixth seed in the Western Conference. They will take on the third-seeded Clippers in the first round of the playoffs. Randy Foye led the way for the Nuggets with 31 points. Kenneth Faried added 15 points and 11 rebounds Denver, which ends the year 36-46.


Blazers Drop Clippers

(Portland, OR) -- Will Barton scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lift the Trail Blazers past the Clippers 110-104 at the Moda Center. Robin Lopez added 15 points off 7-of-10 shooting. C.J. McCollum and Victor Claver each chipped in with 12 points for Portland, which ends the season 54-28. Portland will enter the playoffs as the fifth seed in the Western Conference and will face the Rockets in the first round. Jamal Crawford led the Clippers with 34 points and eight assists. Darren Collison and Matt Barnes each added 19 points for Los Angeles, which finishes the season 57-25. The Clippers are the third seed in the West and will face the Warriors in the opening round.


Suns Crown Kings In Season Finale

(Sacramento, CA) -- Rookie Archie Goodwin dropped in a career-high 29 points as the Suns crowned the Kings 104-99 in the season finale at Sleep Train Arena.  Marcus Morris netted 22 points and Markieff Morris added 15 for Phoenix, which finishes the season 48-34. Ben McLemore scored a game-high 31 points for the Kings, who end the year 28-54. Travis Outlaw tallied 15 points in defeat.
