UConn, Kentucky Clash For NCAA Title

(Arlington, TX) -- Two of the more storied programs in NCAA basketball history clash for the national championship tonight. Connecticut meets Kentucky at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  The seventh-seeded Huskies are in search of their fourth title after last winning in 2011. The eighth-seeded Wildcats won it all two years ago and are going for a ninth championship, which would put them two behind UCLA for the most all-time. Neither team participated in the NCAA Tournament last season. Tonight's game marks the first time a seven and eight seed will meet for the title. Tip from the home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys is set for 8:10 p.m. Central.

Notre Dame Women Pound Maryland

(Nashville, TN) -- Kalya McBride had 28 points and seven rebounds as Notre Dame's women's basketball team pounded Maryland 87-61 at the Final Four from Nashville Sunday. Jewell Loyd added 16 points and nine boards. The Fighting Irish will face UConn in Tuesday's championship game.
