Illinois Edges Boston In NIT Opener
(Boston, MA) -- Rayvonte Rice racked up 28 points and eight rebounds as Illinois edged Boston U 66-62 in the opening round of the NIT in Boston. Malcolm Hill added 10 points and eight boards for the second-seeded Fighting Illini, who will clash with third-seeded Clemson in round two on Sunday.
