Spurs Rock Heat

(San Antonio, TX) -- The Spurs made quick work of the Heat jumping out to a 15-point lead in the first quarter and keeping the pressure on pulling out a 111-87 victory at the AT&T Center. Tim Duncan led the way with 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Tony Parker added 17 points. San Antonio has won five in-a-row. The Spurs held LeBron James to 6-of-18 shooting from the field and 19 points. Chris Bosh posted 24 and seven rebounds as Miami lost its second straight game.

Suns Dump Thunder

(Phoenix, AZ) -- Gerald Green went off for a career-high 41 points with a career-high eight three pointers to lead the Suns to a 128-122 win against the Thunder at U.S. Airways Center. Twenty-five of the points and six of the hits from deep came in the third quarter for Green. Goran Dragic added 22 points, while Markieff Morris tallied 24 points and six rebounds off the bench. Phoenix has won three of four. Coming off a triple-double, Russell Westbrook stayed hot with 36 points, nine assists, nine rebounds and four steals. Kevin Durant dropped 34 points with seven boards and five helpers. The Thunder had won their three previous games.

Clippers Romp Lakers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- It got ugly at the STAPLES Center as the Clippers mauled the Lakers, 142-94, behind 24 points from Darren Collison. The 48-point loss was the worst loss in Lakers history. The Clippers outscored the Lakers 44-to-13 in the second quarter. Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Matt Barnes and Blake Griffin all had double-doubles. The Clippers have won six in-a-row. Pau Gasol paced the Lakers with 21 points. Kent Bazemore added 14 and six assists for the Lakers, who have lost two in-a-row.

Bulls' Noah Recruiting 'Melo

Bulls center Joakim Noah is apparently trying to recruit pending free agent Carmelo Anthony to join the Bulls. ESPN reports Noah approached Anthony during All-Star weekend in New Orleans last month about signing with Chicago. According to sources, Noah told Anthony he can go to Los Angeles, but if he really wants to win a ring and have a legacy about winning he should come to Chicago. Meanwhile, the team host Memphis tonight.
