Lady Shoes' Hartke Wins All-State Honors

Teutopolis High School senior Madeline Hartke has been named to the Class 2A All-State first team by a panel of statewide sports writers and broadcasters, and compiled by John Radtke of the Arlington Heights Daily Herald. Players were awarded five points for a first-team vote and four points for a second-team vote.
A 5' 9" senior, Hartke received 72 votes, the fourth-highest total among Class 2A players. Tyra Buss of Mt. Carmel was the top 2A vote-getter with 115 points. Devin Curry of Watseka and Samantha Lambrigtsen of Oregon each received 79 votes, and Tori McCoy of Champaign St. Thomas More received 70 votes.
