Pirates Power Past Cardinals to Even NLDS

Pedro Alvarez and Starling Marte hit home runs to power the Pirates to a 7-1 win over the Cardinals in Game Two of their National League Division Series at Busch Stadium.
Gerrit Cole allowed just two hits and one run in six innings for the win as Pittsburgh evened the best-of-five series at a game apiece.
Cole opened the scoring with a RBI single and Russell Martin drove in a pair of runs for the Bucs.
Lance Lynn allowed five runs in 4-1/3 innings to take the loss for St. Louis. Yadier Molina homered for the Cardinals' lone run.
The series shifts to Pittsburgh for Game Three on Sunday.
