Teutopolis Ends Baseball Game By 10-Run Rule

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis banged out 14 hits and ended the game against Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor by the 10-run rule count, 13-3 Wednesday.
Stew-Stras/Windsor held a 2-0 lead in the top of the second but the Wooden Shoes tallied three in the bottom of the frame. S-S/Windsor tied the score in the top of the third but T-town broke the game wide open with a nine-run bottom of the inning and ended the game with a run in the fifth.
Bobby Wenthe nailed another home run for the Shoes. Wenthe also had two singles and drove in four runs as his hot-hitting streak continued. D. Probst had two singles and an RBI while the rest of the hits were passed around among nine players.
Helmuth had two singles for Stew-Stras/Windsor.
