Neoga Downs North Clay, Area Roundup

LOUISVILLE -- Neoga handed North Clay (Louisville) a 7-4 loss in high school baseball competition Monday.

Neoga took a 4-2 lead in the second inning then added single runs in the third, fourth and seventh innings. Guy Walk picked up the pitching win on a seven-hitter with three walks and seven strikeouts.

Walk also aided his own cauase with two singles.

Altamont blanked Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 9-0 in junior varsity action.

Nick Miller pitched seven innings, allowing only one hit for Altamont. Altamont improves to 6-0 on the season.
