MULBERRY GROVE -- Brownstown/St. Elmo trailed Mulberry Grove 8-0 until the fourth inning then brought home eight runs to tie the score. From that point on it was all BSE in a 16-12 high school baseball victory Wednesday.
Mulberry Grove outhit BSE 11-9 but both teams had six errors. Dalton Parks had two singles, a double and four RBI for the winners while Levi Maxey had a double, triple and two RBI, Drake Hall two singles and an RBI and Malachi Maxey a triple and three RBI.
Brownstown/St. Elmo is now 2-0 in the Egyptian-Illini Conference, 3-2 overall.
