N. Clay Wins Twice at St. A Round Robin, Stew-Stras Tourney

North Clay (Louisville) nabbed two victories at the St. Anthony Junior High School Round Robin Baseball Tournament Saturday.
North Clay beat St. Anthony 10-6 behind a 12-hit attack. Quincy Aldrich had two singles and a double for the winners while Colt VanDyke had a double, triple and three RBI. Reese Blank contributed three singles and two RBI.
In the game against Sigel St. Michael, North Clay was a winner 22-7 to improve to 7-0 on the season. North Clay took an 11-0 first inning lead and never looked back behind a 16-hit attack.
Aldrich had two doubles, a home run and seven RBI while Jordan Bloemer had three singles, a triple and two RBI, Bailey Zimmerman a single, double and an RBI and VanDyke two singles, a triple and three RBI.

Stew-Stras/Windsor Tournament
Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor, Jasper County and Altamont Lutheran finished with a victory each in the Stew-Stras/Windsor Tournament Saturday.
Stew-Stras/Windsor downed Jasper County 11-1 led by Quast with three hits and an RBI and Thies with three hits and five RBI while Kramer had three hits.
In the second game, Jasper County came back with a 7-6 victory over Altamont Lutheran. Beerman, Wagy, Ervin and Hagen had two hits each for the winners. Hagan and Ervin drove in two runs while Wagy had one RBI.
In the final game, Altamont Lutheran edged Stew-Stras/Windsor 4-3. The game ended after six innings due to the hour and a half time limit.
Altamont Lutheran was led by Kofflin, Robbins, Duckwitz and Teasley with two hits each. Robbins had two RBI and Teasley one.
