Taylor Law Offices Wins Prep League Tournament

Taylor Law Offices scored in all six innings in downing JCR Carpentry 22-12 to win the Babe Ruth Prep League Tournament Thursday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Taylor Law edged out to a 4-3 opening inning lead and led 6-4 after two. Taylor Law then tallied four in the third but JCR Carpentry came back with four in the fourth to pull within 15-8. Taylor Law then had a two-run fifth and a five-run sixth. JCR attempted a comeback bid in the top of the sixth with four runs but fell short.

Taylor Law had 15 hits and was aided by five JCR errors. Bryce Lohman was the winning pitcher on a seven-hitter. Brett Koester led the winners with four singles and three RBI while Drew Niebrugge had a single, double and three RBI.

Kaleb Whitt had a single, double and five RBI for JCR.
