Clark County Junior Post 90 handed Shelby County Posts 289-611-725 an 11-9 loss in action Monday evening at Shelbyville.
Clark County took a 4-0 first inning lead before Shelby County came back with three runs in the second. Both teams scored a run in the third. Clark County then had a four-run fifth and a two-run sixth to push ahead 11-4. Shelby County came back with four runs in the bottom of the sixth and tallied another run in the bottom of the seventh and just fell short.
Shelby County outhit Clark County 9-7. Josh Overbeck had a single, double and an RBI while Tristan Warner had two singles and an RBI.
The Shelby County Juniors end the season with a 7-19 record.
