Tri-Power Towing Advances in Junior League Tournament

Tri-Power Towing advanced in the Junior Babe Ruth League Tournament play Thursday evening at Community Park with an 11-5 win over Sehy & Jones.

Tri-Power edged out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Sehy & Jones took a 4-1 lead in the top of the third but Tri-Power tallied four in the bottom of the frame to regain the lead.

Tri-Power Towing was led by Austin Weber with two singles and a double and Mat Weber with a double and an RBI.

Matt Koester had a double and an RBI for Sehy & Jones.

Tri-Power Towing advances to face Mid-Illinois Concrete Monday at 8 p.m. The opening game features Washington Savings Bank against Midland States Bank at 6 p.m.
