CHBC defeated Okaw Valley, 5-2. Charlie Hardimon started the game on the mound for the Bobcats and went 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out five and walking three. Hardimon earned the win. Brody Cox came on in relief, tossing 1 1/2 innings, allowing one hit, striking out one and walking one.
Max Kircher led the Bobcats in hitting with a single, double and an RBI while Lyric Davis added a double and an RBI and Lance Roadarmel a single and an RBI. Cox also chipped in with an RBI. Kaisyn Calame stole two bases.
"We worked the count all day, tallying six walks and we stole six bases," said CHBC Coach John Brown. "Charlie did a wonderful job for us. He really pitched well in tight situations and kept us in the game throughout. Brody did a great job in relief. Our defense was super. Max Kircher and Lyric Davis had big hits for us in clutch situations. Overall, considering we had to go on the road for a home game because of the rain, our team played great against a tough and determined Okaw Valley."
The Bobcats will face South Central today at 4:30 p.m. in Farina.
North Clay (Louisville) was an 11-8 winner over Altamont while South Central blanked Mulberry Grove. No other information provided. The Effingham Sacred Heart vs Ramsey game was postponed to today so North Clay will now play again until Thursday against the winner of this contest.

Class 1A Sigel St. Michael Regional
Two scores were listed for the Sigel St. Michael Regional.
Sigel St. Michael pounded Oblong, 15-0 while Neoga was an 8-4 winner over Newton St. Thomas.
No information was provided on the Palestine at Mattoon St. John's contest. The winner of this game will meet Effingham St. Anthony today at 4:30 p.m.
St. Michael and Neoga will square off at 4:30 p.m .today. The winners of these two games will meet off for the championship Thursday.
Class 2A Teutopolis Regional
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg vs. Dieterich was the lone game played in the Class 2A Teutopolis Regional Tuesday.
WSS handed Dieterich a 12-2 loss in six innings at Knop-Wascher Field in Strasburg.
A four-run third inning gave the Comets a 5-2 lead which the Comets never relinquished. Samuel Gracey broke the game open with a bases-loaded double to drive in three of the four runs the WSS squad scored in the third ining.
Johnny Richter had three singles and an RBI. Adam Pruemer added a single and double and Samuel Gracey a double and three RBI. Noah Vonderheide added added a single and two RBI. Sawyer Kaufman and Atticus Wascher had an RBI each.
Vonderheide picked up the victory on the mound.
Dieterich was led by Goeckner with a single, double and two RBI and Bohnhoff with two singles.
The win for the Comets was the 18th of the season and they will now play No. 2 seeded Sullivan today at Sullivan.
Brownstown/St. Elmo at Shelbyville Moulton was postponed to today.

Class 3A Mattoon Regional
Effingham and Jasper County saw their seasons come to a close in the Mattoon Regional Tuesday.
Tolono Unity edged Effingham, 6-5 while Charleston downed Jasper County 6-3.
Mount Zion was a 4-2 winner over Robinson Nuttall.
No other information was provided.
Mattoon will now meet Mount Zion at 5 p.m. today at Mattoon while Charleston will take on Tolono Unity at Charleston at 4:30 p.m.
The winners advance to the championship game Saturday at 10 a.m.
Class 2A Marshall Regional
Lawernceville Parkview handed Paris Mayo an 11-1 loss in the first game of the Marshall Regional Tuesday.
Parkview advances to meet top-seeded Casey-Westfield today at 4:30 p.m. at Casey.
The other two opening round games were postponed to today and those included Red Hill (Bridgeport) at Cumberland and Kansas at Marshall.
