The Bulldogs made a statement early when Brady Hatton knocked out a solo homer in the first inning. Aiden Lauritzen was hit by a pitch and the Bulldogs followed with back-to-back singles by Sam Link and Henry Brent to move ahead 2-0.
Altamont had put two runners on in the top half of the first only to leave them stranded. Kade Milleville had a single and Keegan Schultz drew a walk.
The Bulldogs had an up and down inning in the second but broke loose with a six-run third aided in large part by drawing seven walks in the frame. Hatton led off with a a walk, stole second, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on another wild pitch. Brock Fearday, Lauritzen and Brent drew walks to load the bases. Alex Mayer then followed by drawing a walk that scored a run. Rogan Allen drew another walk to score a run and Xander Beals singled to score a run. Will Fearday followed by drawing a walk that also scored a run. By the time the inning ended, the Bulldogs held an 8-0 lead.
The Indians had an up and down inning in the second. They put two runners on in the third on another walk and an error.
In the fourth, Altamont's Parker Bell drew a walk. With one out, Will Reardon singled but a sacrifice fly and a ground out ended the frame and stranded both runners.
St. Anthony tallied one run in the fourth for a 9-0 lead. The inning started off again with a walk as Lauritzen reached base. Sam Link followed with a double. Brent drew a walk to load the bases. Mayer hit a sacrifice fly that scored a run. But the Indians got out of the frame without further damage.
Altamont got its two runs in the fifth. Braden Elam and Milleville drew back-to-back walks to start the frame. With two outs, Bell doubled to bring both runners home. But a strikeout ended the frame.
The Bulldogs retaliated with two more runs in the fifth. With one out, Hatton was hit by a pitch. With two outs, Lauritzen nailed a home run and the Bulldogs held an 11-2 lead.
St. Anthony got Altamont out in order in the sixth then tallied one final run to end the game via the 10-run rule.
Mayer led off with a single. With one out, Beals drew a walk. With two outs, Hatton singled home the run to finish the contest.
St. Anthony had eight hits in the game led by Link with two singles and a double. Hatton had a single, home run and two RBI, Lauritzen a home run and two RBI and Mayer a single and two RBI.
Altamont was led by Bell with a double and two RBI.
Beals went four innings for the win on the mound. He gave up no runs on two hits, three walks while striking out seven. Hatton came on to throw an inning, allowing two runs on one hit, two walks and striking out two. Mayer finished out the final inning.
Three Altamont pitchers gave up eight hits and 10 walks.
