Junior High Baseball from Saturday:

Teutopolis 1, St. Joseph 0 (Bennett Schumacher singled and drove in the only run of the game. Derek Drees got the win with 5-1/3 innings of shutout ball, striking out seven as opposed to three walks. Derek Drees got the only other hit for Teutopolis.

St. Joseph 2, Teutopolis 1 (quite the low-scoring double header, Blake Niemerg's groundout scored the only Teutopolis run of the game, Derek Drees, Owen Lynch and Maddox Pals each had hits for the Shoes. Pals took the loss, allowing just two runs on six hits in five innings of work. Goeckner tossed a clean sixth inning.

Stew-Stras 17, Breese All-Saints 6 (the Comets banged out 11 hits; Pruemer had four singles, Vonderheide had a hit, Johnny Richter homered twice and drove in six runs, Kaufman homered, Schwabe singled, Rincker singled, and Kowalczhk singled)

Greenville 4, Stew-Stras 3 (Pruemer singled and Kaufman doubled for the Comets, Vonderheide took the loss)
