Taylor Law Offices and Teutopolis Jaguars claimed victories in Babe Ruth Prep League action Tuesday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.
Taylor Law Offices edged Tingley Insurance 9-7. Tingley held a 6-5 lead in the top of the third but Taylor Law came back with three runs in the bottom of the frame to pull ahead then tacked on single runs in the fourth and fifth.
Taylor Law had nine hits in the contest led by Paul Smith with three singles and an RBI and Jacob Miller with two singles and an RBI. Mason Hull had one single and drove in three runs.
Ryan Sandifer led Tingley with three singles and two RBI.
In the second contest, Teutopolis Jaguars trounced JCR Carpentry 20-3 in four innings. The Jaguars took a 7-0 first inning lead and had another seven-run inning in the fourth.
Ethan Dust had a solo inside-the-park home run for the winners. Colton Starwalt had a single and four RBI while Jared Bloemer and Andy Isley had two singles and two RBI each.
Bryce McClain had a double for JCR Carpentry.
