Sunday 6/30 MLB Results; Monday Schedule

Lance Lynn threw a dandy game Sunday as the St. Louis Cardinals blanked the Cincinnati Reds 2-0.

Lynn pitched six innings, allowing just two hits and a walk while fanning six. Ryan Helsley pitched the ninth, striking out two and picking up his 30th save.

Masyn Winn had two hits and drove in a run. Alex Burleson drove in the other run. 

The Cardinals are now 43-40 on the season.

Milwaukee scored all seven of its runs in the fourth inning and defeated the Chicago Cubs 7-1 on Sunday. 

The Cubs took a 1-0 lead on a first inning home run by Nico Hoerner, but that was all the offense they could muster against Freddy Peralta. 

Kyle Hendricks took the loss for the Cubs, who are now 39-46.
