Altamont, T-town Claim Friday Baseball Victories

Keegan Schultz was the big hitter on the day for the Indians. He connected for a single, two doubles and three RBI. Altamont banged out 10 hits in the contest and was aided by three Cisne errors. Kaidyn Miller added two singles and an RBI while Eli Miller had a single and an RBI.
Aden McManaway went five innings for the win on the mound. McManaway gave up four runs on six hits, three waliks while striking out six. Kade Milleville went two innings, striking out one.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis High School's Austin Borries moved his pitching record to 4-2 on the season as the Wooden Shoes blanked Marshall, 11-0.
Borries went the five innings on the mound, allowing no runs on two hits, one walk while striking out 13.
Borries then had a good game offensively with a double, home run and two RBI. Mick Niebrugge had a single, double and two RBI. Zac Niebrugge and Mitch Koester had a double and two RBI each and Garrett Gaddis a double and one RBI. Brett Kreke added a single and an RBI.
The two teams went scoreless through the first two innings before T-town broke loose with eight runs in the third and finished with three in the fourth to end the game by the 10-run rule.
The Wooden Shoes improved to 16-8 on the spring while Marshall dropped to 9-11.
