The Cougars ripped out to a 6-0 opening inning lead then tacked on the final four innings in the fourth to end the contest via the 10-run rule.
Coen West led the 13-hitting attack with three singles and two RBI. Colby Bursott added a single, double and two RBI while Evan Hoover had two singles and two RBI. Brody Markley added a double and two RBI while Maddox Robb and Max Magnus added two singles each.
West also picked up the pitching win. He went 2.2 inning allowing no runs on no hits, two walks while striking out six. Chase Guerrettaz came on to finish the 2.1 innings allowing two hits and striking out four.

At Arcola
Arcola had two three-run innings in the third and fourth and blanked Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, 6-0 Wednesday.
The Purple Riders had eight hits in the contest led by Brevyn Whisman with a single, home run and three RBI, TannerTthomas with two doubles and an RBI and Caiden Helmuth with two singles and an RBI.
Windsor/Stew-Stras was led by Kendall Morris with a single and double and Branson Tingley with a single.
Whisman was the winning pitcher for Arcola, going six innings, allowing three hits, one walk while striking out seven.

Richland County (Olney) came calling and handed Cumberland a 20-8 loss in six innings Wednesday.
Cumberland held a 3-2 opening inning lead. But Richland County tallied six runs in the third and led 11-8 going into the sixth. The Tigers then had a nine-run sixth to end the contest.
The Pirates finished with eight hits in the game but committed eight errors. Plus, Cumberland's four pitchers gave up 16 walks.
Blake McMechan led Cumberland with two singles and a double, Wyatt Jackson with a triple and two RBI and Hudson McElravy two singles and an RBI.
