Teutopolis defeated North Clay 9-2 at Wooden Shoe Field Thursday.

It was 1-1 until the Shoes scored four times in the fourth. Each team scored in the fifth, and then the Shoes plated three runs in the sixth.

Borries got the win for the Shoes, allowing two runs, one earned, in 4-2/3 innings with three walks against six strikeouts. Hoelscher pitched the final 2-1/3 clean innings with a strikeout. 

Ayden Jones, Czyzewski and Sullens allowed 11 hits for North Clay.
