The Bullpups ended the game via the 10-run rule, 15-5.
St. Anthony banged out 10 hits led by Mason Storm with two singles, a double and two RBI. Blake Verdeyen had a single, double and three RBI while Jonny Gannaway had two singles and two RBI. Conner Storm had a double and an RBI and Jameson McAllaster a single and an RBI.
Along with one of the leaders offensively, Verdeyen was the winner on the mound, going 3.2 innings, allowing five runs on six hits, three walks and striking out three.
Mount Zion had six hits and committed five errors along with giving up seven walks.

At Effingham
Effingham's Westin Hayes and Elliott Brady did not allow a run to score from the mound as the Mustangs blanked Taylorville, 8-0 Monday.
Hayes went 4.2 innings for the win, allowing two hits while striking out nine. Braddy came on to throw 2.1 innings, allowing no hits and one walk.
Meanwhile Effingham had 12 hits in the contest. Hank Nelson led the way with a double, triple and three RBI. Hayes added a single and double while Jenner Pals had two singles and an RBI. James Wendt finished with two singles. Carson Fox had a singleand two RBI and Carter Kalber a single and an RBI.

At Beecher City
Dieterich handed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City a 13-4 loss in Monday action.
The Bobcats collected nine hits to Dieterich's six, The Roadrunners took advantage of 10 walks, an error and got key hits with runners on base.
CHBC took a 3-0 opening inning lead but Dieterich came back with two in the second and knotted the score in the third. Dieterich then broke loose with a seven-run sixth.
The winners had six hits led by Bryce Bohnhoff with two singles and three RBI. Ben Schottman and Cooper Stortzum had a single and two RBI each.
Isaac Wells had a single, double and an RBI for CHBC while Cayden Ondes and Kaisyn Calame each collected two singles. The Bobcats left 12 on base.
The Bobcats turned a double play in the game.

North Clay/Clay City handed Altamont a loss in eight innings, 8-7.
North Clay/Clay City improved to 1-2 in the National Trail Conference, 2-4 overall and is back in action Thursday at Sigel St. Michael.
