STRASBURG -- Dieterich captured a 13-4 win over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg  in junior high baseball action Tuesday.

Dieterich broke a 1-1 opening inning tie with a six-run second and tallied six more in the fourth.

Both teams had eight hits. Dieterich was led by Maddox Niemerg with a double, two singles and five RBI while Bryce Bohnhoff had two singles and three RBI.

Ben Schottman picked up the win on the mound, going 5.1 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits, no walks while striking out seven.

Windsor/Stew-Stras was led by Duncan with a single, triple and two RBI, McCray with a double and Jones with two singles.

At Kinmundy

South Central came through with a run in the bottom of the seventh to pull out a 3-2 win over Patoka Tuesday.

Patoka held a 1-0 lead after the first inning but South Central tied in the second. Patoka then moved ahead with a run in the top of the fourth. Here came South Central again with a run in the fifth to knot the score.

South Central had six hits in the contest led by R. Dodson with a single, double and an RBI and C. Tockstein with two singles and an RBI.

A. Hoover picked up the pitching win. He relieved Dodson in the fourth and went 3.2 innings, allowing two hits, one walk and striking out three.
