The Bullpups had two very different games. They edged Altamont Lutheran by a 7-6 count in 11 innings. Altamont Lutheran held a 4-2 lead until the sixth and seventh when St. Anthony scored single runs to send the game into extra innings. Both teams scored two runs in the tenth before St. Anthony won in the 11th.
St. Anthony had 12 hits led by Jonny Gannaway with three singles and an RBI, Mason Storm with two singles and two RBI and Connor Storm and Blake Verdeyen with two singles and an RBI each.
Altamont Lutheran was led by McManaway with two singles, a triple and an RBI and Pals and Elam with two singles and an RBI each.
St. Anthony then pounded Selmaville by a 16-5 tally in four innings.
The Bullpups had 11 hits led by Verdeyen with a single, triple and five RBI, M. Storm with a double amd an RBI, Charlie Hoene with a single and two RBI,
Altamont Lutheran handed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City a 7-4 loss in another extra inning contest.
CHBC held a 3-2 lead after three innings but ALIS tied in the fourth then moved ahead in the top of the fifth. CHBC came back to knot the score at 4-4. ALIS then came alive with three runs in the eighth for the win.
ALIS had six hits and was aided by three CHBC errors.
Isaac Wells led CHBC with a single, triple and two RBI and Cayden Ondes had a single and an RBI.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City then downed Selmaville, 7-4.
CHBC took a 4-1 opening inning lead and led 5-2 after three then had a two-run fourth. Selmaville had single runs in the fifth and sixth.
Wells led the way in hitting with a double and an RBI. He finished the weekend hitting .750 with a single, double, triple and three RBI.
Charlie Witteberg threw a four-hitter with one walk and two strikeouts.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg moved into a 1-0 opening inning lead over Effingham Sacred Heart and finished with a 6-3 victory Friday.
WSS had seven hits led by McCory and Vonderheide with two hits each.
Sacred Heart was led by Mason Karolewicz with two singles. Owen Schuette had a single and an RBI.
Parker Duncan was the winning person.

South Central and North Clay tallied 10 hits each but the Falcons claimed a 12-6 victory Friday.
South Central held a 3-0 opening inning lead and led 7-0 after two. North Clay scored one in the third. South Central then added three in the fifth for a 10-1 lead. North Clay came back with five in the bottom of the sixth only to fall short.
R. Dodson had three singles and four RBI to lead the winners. H. Durham had a double, L. Lotz two singles and two RBI, E. Hiestand two singles and an RBI and A. Hoover and C. Tockstein with a single and an RBI each.

Robinson Nuttall came calling and edged Cumberland by a 7-6 score Friday.
Nuttall tallied a single run in the fourth and Cumberland tied in the fifth. Nuttall then moved ahead 5-1 in the sixth and led 7-1 in the seventh.
Cumberland rallied, scoring five runs in the bottom of the seventh only to fall.
Cumberland outhit Robinson Nuttall, 12-5. Gavin Womrhoudt had a single and double while Ty Ralston, Colby Roedl and Reed Walk had two singles each. Roedl added an RBI. Gatlin Murphy and Aydan Oakley had a single and an RBI each.
In Saturday action, Tri-County was a 13-3 winner in six innings over Cumberland.
Tri-County took a 1-0 first inning lead then tallied four in the third. Cumberland came back within 6-3 in the fifth but in the bottom of the frame Tri-County scored four.
Evan Davis had a triple and two RBI for Cumberland. Ralston added two singles and Wormhoudt a single and an RBI.

Newton St. Thomas picked up a 13-1 victory over Sigel St. Michael in four innings Friday.
Carter Barthelme went four innings, striking out eight.
Quincy Fulton had a single and two doubles, Brooks Hermann and Carter Barthelme a single and a double each and Griffin Bierman two singles.
Newton St.Thomas is now 2-0 on the season.
At Teutopolis
Tayorville traveled to Teutopolis and blanked the Wooden Shoes 11-0 in five innings Saturday.
Taylorville's C. Cappellin threw a no-hitter through five innings, allowing two walks while striking out three.
The winners had 12 hits against four Teutopolis ptichers.
