Bulldogs Open Baseball Season With Win, N. Clay Blanks Odin, South Central Downs CORL

The Bulldogs ripped out to an 11-0 opening inning lead then tacked on five more runs in the third and ended the contest in the fourth inning.
St. Anthony's Beau Adams went three innings, allowing one hit and striking out five. Sam Link threw the last inning, allowing one hit.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs were banging out 10 hits and they were aided by eight Mulberry Grove errors and drew eight walks.
Aidan Lauritzen and Connor Roepke had a single, triple and an RBI each. Joseph Tegeler had a triple and three RBI. Brock Fearday added a double and two RBI and Link had two singles and two RBI.

North Clay/Clay City blanked Odin by an 8-0 count Wednesday.
Zimdars picked up the win on the mound. The Cardinals improved to 2-0 on the season.
North Clay doesn't return to action until Tuesday against St. Elmo/Brownstown.
At Centralia
South Central tallied a 4-2 win over Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran in its season-opener Wednesday.
The Cougars took a 1-0 lead in the third inning and pushed that lead to 3-0 in the fifth and tack on a final run in the sixth.
Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran tallied its two runs in the sixth.
Callaway Smith had two hits and scored three runs for the Cougars. Brody Markley had a hit and two RBI.
