The two teams went scoreless in the opening inning but the Bulldogs edged ahead with a run in the second then tallied four in the third and ended the contest with eight in the fourth.
Aidan Lauritzen had a single, home run and three RBI while Max Koenig had a single, two doubles and three RBI. Brock Fearday banged out two doubles and an RBI while Eli Levitt had a single, double and an RBI. Connor Roepke finished with a single, double and an RBI while Will Hoene added a double.
Along with great hitting, Nick Ruholl threw a one-hitter with no walks and striking out seven.
Casey-Westfield's lone hit was a double by Riley Gelb.

At Mattoon
Effingham and Mattoon split an Apollo Conference doubleheader Saturday.
The Hearts lost the lead late in the opening game and fell to the Green Wave by a 3-1 count. The Hearts tallied a run in the fourth to take the lead and held it until the bottom of the sixth.
It was a pitcher's dual for both squads. Mattoon's Helms went six innings, allowing one run on four huts, four walks while striking out seven for the win.
Effingham's Josh McDevitt went four innings allowng no runs on no hits, no walks while striking out nine. John Harper came on to finish out the last two innings and took the loss allowing three runs on three hits, one walk and three strikeouts.
EHS had four hits, all singles by Harper, Myles Maxedon, Evan Waymoth and Kaiden Nichols who had an RBI.
In the second game, Effingham was a 7-3 winner. The Hearts scored four runs in the fourth inning. Waymoth and Nichols powered the big inning with RBIs.
Nichols went six innings on the mound, allowing three runs on six hits, one walk while striking out 10.
Harper had two doubles and an RBI while Nichols had a double and two RBI, Waymoth a double and one RBI and Maxedon a double.
In junior varsity action, the Hearts downed Mattoon 6-3 behind a 10-hit attack. N. Fearday had single, triple and an RBI while M. Flack had single, double and an RBI and B. Boehm two singles.
In the second game, the Hearts finished the sweep with a 12-3 victory.
The Hearts had a seven hit attack as R. Allen had a double and an RBI and B. Boehm and M. Flack a double each. B. Tucker had a single and three RBI and N. Fearday had two RBI.
