The Indians edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then had two-run innings in the third and fourth, four in the fifth and finished out with one in the sixth to end the game via the 10-run rule.
Altamont had 12 hits led by Mason Robinson with two singles, a double and three RBI, Nathan Stuemke with two singles and a double. Kaidyn Miller and Wyatt Phillips had a single and drove in two runs each while Keegan Schultz had a single and an RBI.
Ethan Robbins started on the mound and went four innings allowing one hit, two walks while striking out seven for the win.
Nokomis finished with four errors while the Indians did not commit an error.

South Central ended this contest over Sullivan in five innings due to the 10-run rule Wednesday.
The Cougars edged out to a 3-1 opening inning lead then had an eight-run third and a four-run fourth.
Aidan Dodson had a good game at the plate and on the mound.
Dodson hit a double had a home run and finished with three RBI while Chase Thompson added two doubles and three RBI. Anthony Buonaura and Andrew Magnus had a double and two RBI each. Brody Markley and Maddox Robb had a single and drove in a run each.
Dodson took the mound for three innings and allowed one run on two hits, three walks while striking out four to claim the win.

Carder Reich threw a one-hitter as Newton High School blanked Fairfield, 14-0 in five innings Wednesday.
Reich went four innings allowing three walks while striking out 10.
Meanwhile, offensively, the Eagles were knocking out 12 hits led by Isaac Flowers with two singles, a double and four RBI, Owen Mahaffey with a single, double and two RBI and Jacob McClure with a double and an RBI. Seth Ochs had a single and two RBI while Reich, Grant Ochs and Gary Lewis had a single and an RBI each.
Fairfield committed five errors in the contest.

Efifngham fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 5-0 loss to Mascoutah Wednesday.
Mascoutah got on the board in the first inning, scoring a run on a stolen base. The Indians then tallied a second run in the second inning and finished out with three in the sixth.
The Hearts had only two hits, singles by Spencer Fox and Camden Raddatz.
Musso picked up the win on the mound for Mascoutah. He threw four innings allowing no hits, one walk while striking out nine. Beer came on to finish out the game, allowing two hits, one walk while striking out six.
Josh McDevitt took the loss for the Hearts. The hurler lasted three innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out five and walking one.
