Pujols Passes Ruth In All-Time RBI; La Russa Announces Retirement

St Louis Cardinals Albert Pujols added another milestone to his already impressive baseball resume on Monday passing Babe Ruth in the all-time RBI list with home run No. 703.

Pujols now has sole possession of second place trailing none other than Henry Aaron for the number 1 spot. 

 

Tony La Russa  Announces Retirement

Hall of Fame manager Tony La Russa announced he is retirement from managing Monday, just weeks after leaving the Chicago White Sox for a medical procedure.

The skipper leaves the game as one of the most accomplished managers in Major League history. In his 35 years as a manager, LaRussa won 2,897 games and three World Series titles.
